Our chocolates are entirely handmade in small batches.
We pay attention to every small detail during production because we know every step of the process matters to the quality of our final product. Production of a single batch of bonbons takes 3 days.
Each mold is carefully polished, then painted with colored cocoa butter. Next, we temper the chocolate and make those super thin, sexy shells. Our fillings are designed to elegantly complement the chocolate shell and create an explosion of flavors without overpowering the delicate notes of the chocolate.

Not only do they provide us with a unique, aromatic chocolate with deep tasting notes to create our mouth watering bonbons, but the company has also made ethical commitments to cocoa growers in small countries that we can stand behind.
" Hi! I am Betty Petrova and I am the creator of Petrova Chocolates. I have been in the restaurant industry since I was 14 years old. Back home in Plovdiv, Bulgaria my family owns a small restaurant so I spent summer breaks from school in the kitchen helping out. I graduated Hospitality management at high school and then studied Tourism Management at university. In 2015 I moved to Boston, MA. Since then I have been working in kitchens around the city, attending chocolate classes and workshops to improve my skills and during my free time traveling, eating my way around Europe. Petrova Chocolates has been a project I wanted to launch for a while and it was finally born in the summer of 2020. My purpose is to create chocolate bonbons with unique flavor characteristics that push people to try something new, maybe unfamiliar.
