Shipping chocolate

what you need to know and our shipping policy

All orders are shipped Monday - Tuesday to ensure arrival before the weekend and avoid chocolates to sit around and loose their freshness and form.  After placing your order we will ship it right away during our shipping schedule or the week after if the order was placed after the cutout time unless it is an item that is marked as Pre-order. Shipping of pre-orders is noted in the product description. Orders are normally shipped using the services of UPS. We strongly recommend using faster shipping options for destinations above 70F to prevent melting during transit and we reserve the right to cancel orders to such destinations with shipping slower than Next Day Air.

If there is a holiday, shipping day may change, and your order will ship the next available business day to ensure you receive your package in its best condition. 

Please use the provided tracking number to the email address you have provided, to ensure the integrity of your chocolate goodies. After receiving your chocolates, they should be stored in temperature between 55F - 65F with relative humidity of 50% and we recommend consuming them 14 days after receiving.

Shipping policy 

Each order is packed by hand with care. We do our best to make sure everything is tightly and securely wrapped, we add frozen ice pack during warmer weather (or shipping to warmer destinations) and use isolating mailers to ensure your chocolate goodies stay chilly throughout transportation to their final destination. 

However, once we hand your precious orders over to the shipping carrier, we cannot do anything else to prevent possible damage. 

Petrova Chocolates is not responsible for any damages of packages that could occur due to inclement weather, mishandling during and after shipping or melting due to high temperatures. 
Petrova Chocolates is not responsible for lost or stolen packages, damaged packages from animals or any shipping delays cause by the carrier. Once the package is received by the carrier, it is out of our hands to control any shipping delays. Contact the carrier directly if you have any questions regarding the shipping status of your order.

If you are experiencing a problem with the quality of your order due to the reasons above, we would be unable to issue a refund, but please reach out to us and let us know what went wrong. We are striving to provide excellent chocolate experience and it is our utmost priority that you receive your order in its prime condition.
